Financial, Retail and Government Markets Steer New Business for Leading TEM Vendor

Dec 06, 2006 - Framingham, MA - AnchorPoint, the leading provider of comprehensive Telecom Expense management (TEM) solutions announced today that the company has achieved unprecedented customer growth through Q3 in 2006. AnchorPoint’s integrated TEM business solutions enable customers to intelligently manage, plan, and optimize their communications and network investments.

Since launching its TEM software suite and optional delivery platforms in Q3, FY04 bookings have grown over 123% and backlog has skyrocketed over 2000%. Their successes have been bolstered by the market’s increasing demand for a managed services approach that allows customers to pick and choose from a menu of options, deciding which areas of their process they want to own and manage and what areas they want to outsource.

A recent October 2006 report from leading independent analyst firm Gartner, MarketScope for Telecom Expense Management, 2H06 (Eric Goodness, et al.), states “Companies want to begin fitting their telecommunications tactical needs into an outsourcing plan, while keeping the more strategic needs of their services in house.”
