AnchorPoint Launches Version 6.0 of Award-Winning Telecom Expense Management Solution

AnchorPoint Version 6.0 to Feature Expanded IT Asset Management and TEM Reporting Functionality and a SQL Server Upgrade

Dec 12, 2006 - Framingham, MA - AnchorPoint, the leading provider of integrated Telecommunications Expense Management (TEM) solutions, today announced the release of AnchorPoint Version 6.0. Building on the solution’s award-winning software, AnchorPoint has integrated specialized IT asset management configurability tools to incorporate a broader spectrum of IT/Telecom assets, services and business-critical transaction types.

Managing spend is a critical success factor for all enterprises, and gaining control of that spend starts with the ability to analyze trends and quickly identify problem areas in real-time. The AnchorPoint V 6.0 features the following new functional enhancements:

• Release 6.0 delivers IT/Telecom management - a holistic approach to managing spend for all voice, data and wireless initiatives. Incorporating IT assets and services into the expanded AnchorPoint data model provides a 360 degree end-to-end view of crucial intelligence for IT/Telecom staff.

• AnchorPoint 6.0 leverages this enhanced data model and reporting capabilities to provide IT executives with the visibility and control of all their IT assets throughout the entire procure to pay lifecycle. Armed with this, enterprises can make nimble, smart and swift decisions to stay competitively focused. AnchorPoint users ― ranging from C-level executives and financial analysts to business line managers and telecom operators ― will be able to personalize, design and receive more robust Web-based reports that detail their specific IT/Telecom budgets, assets and usage.

• With Version 6.0 enhanced set of reporting and expanded asset management functionality, AnchorPoint 6.0 leverages Microsoft SQL Server 2005 providing the added benefits of the integrated Microsoft. Net infrastructure. Microsoft’s latest edition of SQL Server includes Reporting Services (SSRS), Service Broker (SSSB) and Integration Services (SSIS) all facilitating easier reports usage and data management.

The latest release also takes advantage of Business Objects version XI which includes enhanced user interface capabilities. AnchorPoint Business Analytics is built on Business Objects technology, providing a more robust interface experience and a greater ease of use.
