AnchorPoint Continues Growth in First Half of 2007

Retail, Utilities, and Government Driving New Business for Leading TEM Provider

Jul 31, 2007 - Framingham, MA - AnchorPoint, the leading provider of integrated Telecom Expenses Management (TEM) solutions announced today that the company has achieved significant continued growth through Q1 and Q2 in 2007. Offered as a software license, hosted or fully outsourced solution, AnchorPoint TEM enables customers to intelligently manage, plan, and optimize their communications and network investments.

Among the first half sales of 2007, AnchorPoint added to its customer ranks the largest utilities provider in the Northeast, the largest wholesale club operator in the US, and the largest county government in the mid-Atlantic states region.

In addition to these high profile customer wins, AnchorPoint also experienced considerable customer expansion in the manufacturing sector and new business wins in the healthcare industry.

A recent July 2007 report from leading independent analyst firm Gartner indicates, “Telecom expense management (TEM) continues to show strong growth in the marketplace, especially in North America.” Moreover, “absorption of telecom charges at the enterprise level without proper charge out and accounting will continue to put undue pressure on IT and finance departments to control expenses, implement changes in end-user behavior and pursue more-stringent methods1.”
