Rise in Healthcare Sector Sales Contributing to AnchorPoint Expansion

Dec 18, 2007 - Framingham, MA - AnchorPoint, the leading provider of integrated Telecom Expenses Management (TEM) solutions announced today a series of new contracts from the healthcare sector. The new business comes from an increased demand for AnchorPoint’s TEM solution. Offered as a software license, hosted or outsourced solution, AnchorPoint TEM enables customers to intelligently manage, plan, optimize, and reduce their communications and network investments.

Among its top recent healthcare sales AnchorPoint added a national and global provider of dialysis and hemodialysis systems, a not-for-profit healthcare system located in the South, and one of the largest healthcare systems providers in the Midwest. In addition, one of AnchorPoint’s largest healthcare customers expanded its TEM reach into a recently acquired subsidiary that provides healthcare benefits to over 2.6 million members in the state of New York.

Independent analyst firm Aberdeen Group recently noted in its annual 2007 Telecom Expense Management Report, “Best-in-Class organizations were three-times more likely than [others] to have standardized reporting and analytics capabilities enabling them to easily identify trends and anomalies in their overall and departmental telecom spend.” Moreover, “Increasing visibility into telecom spending is the key action organizations should take to gain a measure of control over telecom expenses1.”
