AnchorPoint Adds Strategic Sourcing to TEM Solution Offering

AnchorPoint Partners with Source Loop to Offer Technology-Based Managed Sourcing Solutions

Jan 11, 2006 - Framingham, MA - AnchorPoint™, a leading provider of integrated Telecom Expense Management (TEM) solutions, today announced the addition of Strategic Sourcing to its TEM solution portfolio, providing the tools, expertise and processes required by enterprises to achieve best-in-market rates and contracts for voice, data and wireless services.

AnchorPoint’s Strategic Sourcing solution helps companies define communications requirements, improve the vendor selection process, and manage rapidly changing communications investments. Developed in partnership with Source Loop, an innovator in Telecom Service Sourcing, the solution leverages state-of-the-art sourcing tools, a reverse auction platform and best practice expertise to alleviate the complex and time-consuming contract negotiation process.

In addition, the solution will optimize enterprise clients' networks to accommodate current and future communications needs, establish contract benchmarks, and conduct competitive sourcing and bidding across suppliers. Powered by Source Loop's e-procurement and reverse auction technology, AnchorPoint can conduct sourcing events in half the time of traditional approaches and can secure rates that have historically been attained by only the largest telecom contracts.
